Ahhh, the change of season! Summer is no more, and we are all cozying up with our Pumpkin Spice & Everything Nice! We change over our wardrobe from summer tanks & shorts, to cozy sweaters & knits! We ditch the summer salads and opt for the warm croc pot options… What about our Beauty & Personal Care routine tho?? The change in season brings colder temperatures and dry air! We have come up with a few TIPS to ensure you are taking care of those locks as the leaves FALL!

  1. Heat your body not your hair!! High heats are always danger zone for your locks! We invest a lot of time and money into our hair. The best way to preserve your fall colour and keep your hair healthy, is to avoid high heat! Our Hair Dryer & Volumizer brush does just that! Our blower brush is designed as a 3 in 1. It can dry, straighten and curl your hair without all the damaging effects of high heat tools. Opt for one, good product! Save yourself time and money, and keep those fall locks healthy and shiny!

  2. MOISTURE: Opps! Sorry, we didn't mean to yell! This is so important!! The colder temperatures mean we face dry brittle hair! Nip that quickly with a good conditioning hair mask a couple times a week. Keep the moisture in to avoid breakage as the seasons transition.

  3. Fall Fresh Look: Mix up your style and opt for a new colour and cut! Coppers, burgandays, rich browns! Style yourself with a blunt new retro cut, and ditch the split ends! You’ll be Fall-Tastic in no time!

  4. Wash Less & Repeat: Yep, we said it! Washing your hair less in general is a good rule of thumb. Avoid over washing as it is extremely drying to your ends and scalp! Find a good dry shampoo, and use only as required to get through to your next wash. TIP: Make a natural dry shampoo at home. Cornstarch and lavender essential oil will do you, and your scalp, some good!

  5. Cinnamon Buns: Fall is definitely a time of year we want to cozy up and have the warm treats! Just remember everything in moderation. Just like your body, your hair is affected by your diet. Choose foods high in vitamin A & C, like dark greens for strong locks. Add in Omega 3’s for added shine and you will be well on your way to Falling in Love with your Fall Do!
